Macbook Updates

I had been with this lovely notebook (My lovely Zoro, the black macbook)
for about a year now
Since my purchase of it, nights of working on installing the three “blade” on it, buying a transparent case for it etc
it had been quite sometime,
however recently when I can no longer tolerant the slow running winXP,
I decided to reinstall it
I shouldn’t play with the partition table again /. .\
and then I had to reinstall all 3 OS,
after 2 nights of struggling,
I had decided the follow
I WILL NEVER INSTALL WINXP NATIVELY ON THIS MACHINE AGAIN
by the word natively I guess some ppl had already guess what I’ll do with it
Oh, yes, vmware,
The new setting of my macbook will be,
macOS 10.5 + Unbuntu 7.10 with winXP on vmware…
And for those who concern about the performance
yes, it’s darn slow for my 1Gb ram for vmware
So, after I had done some research on google
The version of my macbook can only support upto 3Gb ram of 667 mHz
so I go and buy 1x1G + 1x2G 667 DDR2 Ram for it
and it run charming smoothly
It only cost me $503 HKD
which I consider as very worthy
because I can spend most of my time in linux
and at the same time use winXP for some un-escapable task
I guess I’ll more get used to linux as well then…
P.s as my dear macbook don’t have the featured Three Blade now
I had changed her name to glados (As Reference to the game Portal from Valve)
