My Recent Wow Activities
Goblin motto: Time is money, friend!
I was thinking to write a long long post about my life in WOW
from start, and the change of view thru my advance to the top, (I mean high level, I am not a top player and never will be)….
Umm, as you can see I changed my mind,
reasons, it’s kinda boring, like some one bragging how strong they are.
And it is chopped into parts, since I always change from aspect to aspect, from alts to alts
Currently I am on a little project on WOW’s economics
with the knowledge about the game, really helps a lot on this
I was making money on selling off farmed materials,
and hard earn the money…
I had playing a while in the Aution Hall once a while before,
but not for long…
(okay, it’s already some keyword most of the non-WOW player don’t know, my fault, I’ll explain soon)
We had played with leveling, quest, instance, and raid
currently. And Thanks, it had been fun, but gotta tired about it for the moment….
so I am messing with trading now…
because of what mr. Skrooge is doing (the AH Gnome’s work)

leveling to level100 engineering for the goggle use up 6g60s,
the flower 5s
sum up to around 7g
Better than most alternative for a head slot for a lv 10 character in my view,
And the most important part,
it’s fun, and fit her.
(she does throw a lot of dynamics on mob
when she level to lv10 to get those glasses on.

Resourceful Friend and I, Blood Elf
There are many different kind of friend for any given person
However,
Some of them are always more resourceful than others.
You may not hangout much with them,
however, whenever you’ve got question or doubt,
you’ll ask them first
I am considering myself as one of those people
who love to gather different knowledge and tell others when they need it.
Some may think that, it takes so much time to get the knowledge
and just share it with friend is not, umm, fair/profits (I can’t think of a phrase)?
It’s okay for me, because I always like new knowledge,
and most of them interest me
(You may think that me as a knowledge pack rat)
Being resourceful is good, if you enjoys it.
Some people love to live simple and direct, that’s good.
But I know I am not that kind of person and cursed to find out the truth outthere somehow.
I love makes friend with thinkers, as we can talk about many topics in depth.
But I also like makes friend with straight forward people, who can let me take a rest from my unfulfillable desire of knowledge. XD

As Said in previous two post,
I seldomly talk about my game life in here
But recently I think that it’s kinda part of me now
(And if anyone notice, I do start posting more about the game here as well)
I had been playing this game for one-two years,
why I mentioned this less,
well, I was thinking about focusing on RL (real life) thoughts in here.
and trying to cut out the little little things,
apparently some random thoughts as well

I always want to write an article about world of warcraft
Most of my readers here (as If I’ve got a lot)
had not play the game nor even played online game once,
I guess
That’s why i am hestated to put content about it here…
But recently I had some thoughts from there,
and hardly to describe without talking about the game there…
One of the reason is BRK’s leaving, what strike me is the “REAL LIFE” to game relationship (from the event that I really got my toons/charactor show thanks to him, on the real world)
Another reason strike me , is the I dig out a draft of mine on July 2008
with a line… “I always want to write an article about world of warcraft.”
So I guess it’s time for me to do so…
So, here we go, We’ll start talking about it soon.
Me, Virtual World and the Real one
And There was Light.
I had been involving in the online game for about,
say ten years now
and yes, I use the term “involving” not “playing” for a reason
There are some periods times I had not played the game, but by managing one, and developing some of the aspect
My Staff and me in UO
I started the whole deal with the game Ultima Online
back then, private server are legal (as is now for Ultima Online)
(We kept hosting them, as soons as people likes it and it’s legal. I don’t like crossing the line)
From a admin pov, one will come up with many thoughts.
A view from high land.
Some question keep appear on my head,
Why they keep playing, and keep spending time on the same thing again and again
Why a virtual item become so value to them, while we gm can just add it with a single command
The bond of a person to his/her character, to his/her friend, and to the society

The Virtual world is a abstracted level of real world,
but with the people with the same urges, desires, needs
It become a good place to learn
especially one have lesser thing to loss and experiment
I learn much there, and even had a project in uni soley on the topic “virtual reality”, online culture is forming in the same extend as online games. technology advanced, but people will remain the same.
Well, behavior will change, but the reasoning, the driving force will remain the same.
