Getting back to full speed

Working hard to keep thing on schedule, both work, personal projects and life.

It takes extra effort to squeeze time out and having balance life.
As I am still planning to have 2-4 hour gaming sessions each day, extra time is needed
I changed my working schedule a bit, so that I’ll wake up at 730 now.

Having the morning time for work is nice,
and I can even have more time on the book reading.

Then I’ll have enough time for my photo, blog, facebook etc etc as well :P
Hopefully everything will work out just fine :)

Ups and Down in Life

There are always up and down in our life,
Expectations, Fate etc influence our feeling…

To find out one’s position and what to expect is hard…
Recently I met lots of friends who parted for years,
each facing very different path of life.

Some get married, a class mate even gone to election.
It’s very strange, and everyone have their own problem and path.
And for me, there are lots of changes happened…

Tbh, I believe that I have been a better man from being an A$$ hole when I was much younger.
Thoughts and Seeing thing from more perspectives.

There are still much to learn of course, and I am still eager to learn :)

Unlimited Tasks

When you start looking for work, and you’ll find tons around…

Yep, I started to patching up my Wow blog and Wala, my old blogging buddy is coming back as well.

There are still much code to get fixed for tinkering for my web exploring bot…

Many people to visit to talk to…

And Let’s don’t forget the lovely camera…

Gees, I wish I would have 72 hour a day….

Applying Project Management Tools outside work

I must admit I am kinda a geek.

Having my own webhosted blog, server, sets of gaming mouse, keyboard are pretty standard for a Gaming CSer. I am sure many of my schoolmate have that.

Although not a GPL/OOS contributor myself, I do occasionally have pet programming project off work. Calculating shortest path for the MMORPG eve etc…

From time to time, tasks lost tracks and projects got abandon, I guess I can benefits of having tools to track them more nicely…
With the new hosting I’ll be having a personal git Repositories, Trac for task tracking…
Probably I can organize my own works better after work :P

Bye Daddy

After hosting two years with gooddaddy,
I decided it’s time to say good bye, just because the single thread download speed was limited to 20kb/s

The cost of the hosting had increase recently, and I decided it’s time to pull the plug. After consulting some of my friend, I picked WebFaction out of the heat competition. Since it allow custom run program and port forward, a perfect platform for a git like me.

The Easy Installation of Subversion and Git was a plus…
And although the hosting price of the host is around 30%+ so far I am pretty comfortable with it…

Let’s see how things goes….
